Activities & Workshops
Sharing of knowledge and training is crucial to the success of Project 1nita and more importantly to provide the foundation for participants to achieve optimum business outcomes. To this end, .my DOMAIN REGISTRY will organise a series of seminars and workshops, which will be conducted by an expert team from University Kebangsaan Malaysia’s Pusat Kajian E-Komuniti (eKom).
Participants will complete three sessions of seminars and workshops to qualify as a member of the online entrepreneur community of Project 1nita and launch their online business.
These seminars and workshops will be held nationwide.
The objectives of the Project 1nita seminars and workshop:
- To nurture enterprising women as well-rounded online entrepreneurs and be well-versed with e-commerce transactions
- To train and transfer knowledge on Internet marketing, web development using Web 2.0 tools and website maintenance
- To familiarise women entrepreneurs with the optimum benefits of the Project 1nita platform
Topics that will be discussed during seminars and workshops include:
- E-Entrepreneurship Mindset
- Idea generation and Opportunity Identification
- Business Organisation and Development
- Strategies on e-content development, script storyboard writing, graphic and picture taking
- Skills to advertise in Malay and English
- Web Content & Imagery
- Web Editing and Maintenance
- Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
- Web 2.0 Marketing
- International marketplace
- Internet marketing tips and tricks
Workshop Duration: 3 days (in 3 computer labs)
Participants: Maximum of 150 pax per session
Training will also be conducted face to face with participants at least twice as per the following:
Coaching Session 1 / Consultancy:
- Idea development and refinement
- Script writing and storyboard preparation
- Advertising skills
Coaching Session 2:
- Business strategy implementation and problem solving
- Web development monitoring
- Business organisation and operations
- Web development finalisation
